Design of a Band-Pass Filter for ECG Signal in 180nm CMOS Technology

This project presents the design and implementation of a biosignal processing system in 180 nm CMOS technology, optimizing area and power consumption. A Butterworth bandpass filter based on a Sallen-Key topology with switched capacitors is used to condition ECG signals in the range of 0.01-250 Hz. A bilinear transformation is employed for the conversion to discrete time, enabling an accurate frequency response evaluation. Additionally, the effects of noise and system linearity are analyzed, considering the physical characteristics of the transistors for switch selection.
