The Utility of RAG in Medical Engineering: A Virtual Assistant Model Based on GPT Logic

Artificial intelligence (AI)–based technologies have transformed numerous fields, including medical engineering. Among these, the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) model combines the text-generation capabilities of a language model (such as GPT) with the ability to rapidly search and retrieve information from domain-specific databases. This coupling opens new avenues for deploying virtual assistants in medical engineering applications.
