Maintenance of electrical motors in metallurgical industry

Maintenance operations are current activities in any field of industry. Moreover, in the metallurgical industry, the maintenance of electrical equipment ensures the efficient operation of technological processes. is an essential objective. Among all types of maintenance, predictive maintenance occupies a special place. This paper presents a detailed analysis of predictive maintenance applied to electrical systems within Donalam Târgoviște. Starting from the analysis of the parameters of electric motors, the improvements brought by replacing an old technology by adapting the control converters of these motors are presented. The encouraging results will lead to other current activities within the plant.
